Make a key chain using Inkscape
How to get your Inkscape creation to be accepted by our laser software:
Before you begin the steps below, be sure to save your project!
- Under ‘file’ click ‘save as’ choose ‘pdf’, then save the file to your desired location (your documents folder)
- At the laser laptop, open your pdf file using Adobe Reader
- In Adobe Reader choose ‘File’ and then ‘Print’
- Select the ‘VLS3.50’ printer and select ‘print’ to send your printed project to the laser’s software.
- Open the laser’s control software by finding its icon in your system tray at the bottom right of your computer screen and your project should be there
- Remember: make sure that lines you intend to cut are showing as red and lines that you intend to engrave are showing in black/grayscale
